That's right... October 1 is here and it's just one more month until NaNoWrMo. If you have no idea what this is you have to check it out! My daughter and I will be participating. Have you decided what YOU'RE doing for NaNoWriMo? Do you outline? Do you just jump in and allow creativity to take over? Have you ever finished? Tell me about your experience with NaNoWriMo, and what plans you are making to tackle November!
I think this year I'll make a page for my NaNo friends. I'll post a link to you if you're participating, Looking forward to a great month of preparation and an amazing November.
I think I'll be participating again this year. Hope you and your daughter have fun.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! Won't participate this year as I should have my manuscript back from my critique partners by the end of the month and will spend November doing final edits. I did participate and win in 2010, and that manuscript became my second published book.
ReplyDeleteI've been a participant since 2008. I didn't reach my goal the first year (it was my senior year of high school and it was just too much), but have won every year since. Last year I finished a novel draft I'm quite proud of, and this year I'm going to take a crack at the prequel. Right now I'm plotting out that novel while editing the other.
ReplyDeleteHave fun in November!
I've been participating since 2006 and I've completed NaNoWriMo twice in that time. I'm hoping to complete again this year. Every year, whether I complete it or not, I learn something new. The biggest thing NaNoWriMo has taught me is to turn-off the internal editor and just write. What a freeing experience! here's my profile if you want to buddy-up! Good luck! http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/participants/michcarl
ReplyDeleteThis is my first hearing about it but I am a quick study and I intend to be on top of it lickety split.
