Let's Celebrate Pickin' at Dusk

Having four kids means going and going and going to whatever they do. Taxing at times, yes, but I wouldn't miss one moment of fun. I've posted before about how much fun we have at the theatre, and last night was such fun I wanted to share it with you.

The kids at the theatre are raising money to go to competition in October, so last night they sponsored Pickin at Dusk with an evening of bluegrass music, food, and fun.

Music everyone enjoyed.

That's one way to arrive.

This type of music...

is like coming home.

We were entertained with the music of Gary Waldrep.

And, I watched my family smile.

I looked around at all the happy faces of the crowd and realized my daddy would have loved to have been there. There's so much to be thankful for these days; like being in a place where people are real, family means something, and good friends know how to have a good time.
