A to Z Challenge.... Letter D

Welcome A to Z friends! Tell me about a new blog you've found along your a to z journey. Lots of great blogs out there just waiting for you, and that's why this year I'm spotlighting blogs or people to follow.

Today was easy... D... and who best to fill the "D" spotlight than Doreen McGettigan. Doreen and I became friends with the publication of our first books. She's a fabulous lady with a giant heart. Visiting her blog is a must, and you'll discover you'll find a new friend in Doreen. Hop over and like her on facebook and follow her on twitter.

My rhyming picture book for the letter D is...... Do Pirates Take Baths? by Kathy Tucker
Enjoy the fun!

Do you have a favorite blog to follow? Share in the comments. I love new places to visit. Have a favorite rhyming book from your childhood? Let us know! Happy A to Z everyone!

  1. I showed that Do Pirates book to my kids and they all thought it was too silly to read! Ha.
Doreen sounds like a great lady. Love the theme you've got going on. :)

  2. Great theme! Love the Pirate book.
    Thanks for joining Dreaming.

  3. Thank you so much Vanessa. You are a beautiful friend!

  4. Great idea - way to share the love. Hope you are enjoying the A to Z Challenge as much as I have been.

  5. what a great thought... my favorite rhyming book (of poetry) is by Shel Silverstein "A Light in the Attic"

  6. I too like Shel Silverstein's "A Light in the Attic" or any other by him. I also like Winnie the Pooh books but now that I think about it, I don't think they rhyme. Happy blogging!

  7. Happy A to Z. It looks like life has gotten in your way, but I wanted to leave a comment and encourage you to not give up. You could always start over today with O. I mean, who needs the letters E through N anyway? Skip 'em! ;)

  8. Do Pirates Take Baths? Love the title of that one. Doreen sounds lovely, as well. I'll check out her blog.

Visiting you from the A to Z Challenge signup page. Great to meet you!
