Happy Monday!!
I have a mixed media A-Z for you all to enjoy! For my 26 posts enjoy great movie lines, favorite children's books, fantastic music selections, and perhaps an episode of Seinfeld or I Love Lucy! A little something for everyone! My kids are getting in on the A-Z fun. The Call is one of their favorites!

Eddie: You surprised to see us, Clark?
Clark: Oh, Eddie... If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn't be more surprised than I am now.

(You'll want to play this one over and over)
Seinfeld - "The Chaperone"
(full episode added just for you)
Elaine at her job interview at Doubleday with Mrs. Landis.
LANDIS: Of course, Jackie O. was a great lady. Those are going to be some tough shoes to fill. Everyone loved her. She had such...grace.
ELAINE (gushing): Yes! Grace!
LANDIS: Not many people have grace.
ELAINE: Well, you know, grace is a tough one. I like to think I have a little grace...not as much as Jackie -
LANDIS: You can't have "a little grace." You either have grace, or you...don't.
ELAINE: O.K., fine, I have...no grace.
LANDIS: And you can't acquire grace.
ELAINE: Well, I have no intention of "getting" grace.
LANDIS: Grace isn't something you can pick up at the market.
ELAINE (fed up): Alright, alright, look - I don't have grace, I don't want grace...I don't even say grace, O.K.?
LANDIS: Thank you for coming in.
ELAINE: Yeah, yeah, right.
It's so refreshing coming here it's lighthearted, funny and outstandingly good.

I love the soundtrack to Narnia 2 - I have the movie sitting on my table beside my laptop to watch this week (I have some mobility issues at the moment). Love your hodgepodge of offerings in your posts!
ReplyDeleteI do love this mixed media idea of yours, says a lot with a little :)

Christmas Vacation is my favorite of the National Lampoon vacation series.
ReplyDeleteAnd Seinfeld is always good for a laugh!
Looking forward to seeing what you do next!
Oh my goodness, I love your blog! Movies, Books, Music, Seinfeld and I Love Lucy....does it get any better! haha!! So far, I am loving everything you've picked for each letter. What a creative and awesome way to do the Challenge. I love it! It makes laugh, smile and brings back great memories. I used to read Caps for Sale all the time, to my kids. It was one of our favorites! I don't know how old your kids are, but I highly recommend The Miraculous Journey of Edward Toulane. Anyway, thanks, can't wait to see what the rest of the month looks like in mixed media!! :)
