A-Z Blogging Challenge: Letter I

I have a mixed media A-Z for you all to enjoy! For my 26 posts enjoy great movie lines, favorite children's books, fantastic music selections, and perhaps an episode of Seinfeld or I Love Lucy! A little something for everyone! (I'm still a bit behind in my A-Z posts, but I'm getting caught up on life!)
IT
(There's no link to Netflix for this fun nightmare. I just couldn't post the clown face. Stephen King deserves the "I" post.)

Pennywise: [Pennywise's face begins changing from a smile to a frown] Ohh yes... They Float Georgie... They Float... and when your down here, with me... YOU FLOAT TOO!

(If you're feeling creative, let your kids paint with white paint on blue paper and make your own 'spilt milk' book.)

By Bon Jovi
(I'll add Bon Jovi any chance I get)

By Sony and Cher
(So I had to add two songs, but who didn't love when they sang this on their show)

(Let's just enjoy Lucy quote after quote)

Lucy Ricardo: Ever since we said "I do", there have been so many things that we don't.

Ricky Ricardo: Look, all I know is that Columbus discovered Ohio in 1776.

Ricky Ricardo: Lucy's actin' crazy.
Fred Mertz: Crazy for Lucy, or crazy for ordinary people?

Lucy Ricardo: If some other woman were to take Fred away from you, you'd be singing a different tune, too.
Ethel Mertz: Yeah, "Happy Days Are Here Again".

Ethel Mertz: Gee, this high altitude sure gives me an appetite.
Fred Mertz: What's your excuse at sea level?

Ethel Mertz: If I let my hair go like that you'd never let me hear the end of it.
Fred Mertz: Honeybunch, if the rest of you looked like that I wouldn't care if you were bald.

Ethel Mertz: There's lots of things you're good at.
Lucy Ricardo: Like what?
Ethel Mertz: Well, you're awfully good at... uh... You've always been great at...
Lucy Ricardo: Those are the same ones Ricky came up with.

Ricky Ricardo: How do spell s'perience?
Lucy Ricardo: E-x-p
Ricky Ricardo: E-x? You're kidding.

Superman: How long have you been married?
Ricky Ricardo: 15 years.
Superman: And they call me Superman!

Ethel Mertz: I refuse to go anywhere with someone who thinks I am a hippopotamus.
Ricky Ricardo: Lucy, is this true?
Lucy Ricardo: No, I just implied that she was a little hippy... though she has got the biggest potamus I've ever seen.

(I know I'm smiling!)

  1. Some great memories here. The Sonny and Cher show was quite a good show-- Friday nights if I remember correctly?

  4. I read It back in the 80's and it scared me, but I loved it. Then I saw the movie when it came out, scared me even more. I let my teenage boys watch it, they thought it was hysterical. Times have changed. They said it was super cheesy.
Love all the Lucy quotes, so funny!!
    I hope you are well!
